Innovation hubs given £75 million to support SMEs
10 regional innovation hubs, known as Launchpads, are to be given £7.5million each in government funding, to drive innovation in SMEs that show potential for growth. George Freeman, the Minister of State at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology states that “These Launchpads will play a pivotal role in growing our local economies, creating jobs and levelling up the UK.” For more information, read below.
