DHL Express announce £16million sustainable investment
This month DHL Express announced its £16 million sustainable investment! With a goal of fully electric operations by 2032, the three-year investment will see 100 pieces of new electric ground equipment supporting DHL’s international operations. Steve Griffiths, East Midlands Airport’s Managing Director, says: “DHL’s investment is a positive development as we, as an industry, take steps to decarbonise. We’re committed to becoming a net zero airport by 2038 and innovations like DHL’s help move us a step closer to that goal.”
